To send notifications in MindScroll LMS, login as administrator and click on 'notification' icon on top bar.
Click on 'Notifications'. This shows the notification view.
Select one or more users or a user group from the corresponding drop down list and Click on 'Add'.
This adds the user(s) in the Recipient List.
Select the Notification type. You can send notification via 3 channels.
- Email Notification - The user(s) will receive the notification message as an email on their registered email address.
- Web Notification - The user(s) will receive the notification message as an alert on their homepage as well as under the notification messages.
- Push Notification - The user(s) will receive the notification message as an app notification on their mobile. Please note for push notification to work, the user should have the MindScroll app installed on the phone and should be logged in.
Type the 'Subject' and 'Message' in the Subject and Message box and Click on 'Send Notification' button.
The Web Notification message appears on User's home page and also in the Notifications area which can be accessed by clicking on the 'Notification' icon.
